Leach Center for the Performing Arts

The Leach Center for the Performing Arts is an inspiring venue for the theatrical productions, concerts, and recitals that showcase the Colorado Academy performing arts and music programs.
CA’s new theater opened in August 2021 and was the fourth and final building of the See it Through capital campaign. Named in recognition of a generous lead gift from Bryan Leach and Jennifer Gaudiani, the Leach Center replaced the former Froelicher Theatre, which opened in 1977.

The Leach Center is an inviting and inspiring space where all CA students know they can be creative, learn, and appreciate the arts. The building features flexible spaces for teaching, rehearsing, and performing, including a 500-seat theater; a Black Box Theater; a state-of-the-art theatrical rigging system; digital light, sound, and projection systems; an upgraded shop for scenic construction; an anchoring system to support CA’s new vertical dance program; and a classroom for Speech & Debate.
