We welcome your interest in our school and community. The admission process is designed to discover what inspires each applicant's curiosity and creativity.
Each year, prospective families complete the application process from September through January for admission to the following school year. Admission Committees review applications in February. In collaboration with other Denver-area independent schools, CA sends admission decisions for Grades 6-12 on February 24 and for Pre-K-Grade 5 on March 3. Families interested in applying for the 2023-2024 school year may access the application portal after September 1.
At CA, we delight in a student’s curiosity, creativity, and sense of adventure. CA students of all ages develop courage by exploring the abundant opportunities for personal growth in our community. Students also learn from each other and work hard to be kind and stand up for others. That's why our Admission Committee strives to create a mix of talents, backgrounds, and perspectives in each grade that enhances everyone's learning.

A highlight of Catherine's time at CA is assisting with Interim trips and, along with students, learning how to fly fish, how to lead hiking trips, how to practice yoga, and how to order a variety of poutine in Quebec.
A native of Atlanta, Ga., Catherine graduated from Duke University as an Angier B. Duke Scholar, with majors in French and Political Science. We are very excited to have the opportunity to join the CA community. We truly believe the curriculum and focus on the "whole child" coupled with the strong community feel at CA is the best fit for us.
