At Colorado Academy we are deeply invested in the health and wellbeing of our school community. Being mentally healthy is just as critical as being physically healthy.
The school counseling department takes a proactive and preventive approach to supporting students’ mental health and learning by providing a comprehensive school counseling program. The school counselors in each division are a great resource for supporting students’ growth and learning through the important developmental stages. They provide individual and group counseling, education, and prevention and intervention activities, which are integrated into all aspects of students’ lives. The school counseling program teaches knowledge, attitudes, and skills that students need to acquire in academic and social/emotional development, which serve as the foundation for future success.
