Tuition
At CA, our tuition is as comprehensive as possible so that each student enjoys a challenging and rewarding experience. Our tuition covers educational expenses such as classroom supplies, daily lunch, field trips, yearbooks, team uniforms, personalized college counseling, and more.

  • For Grades 5-8: Tuition includes the cost of a student iPad; families are responsible for a keyboard and case.
  • For Grades 6-12: Families are responsible for the cost of books/e-books (approximately $150 to $200 per year). Incoming students in Grade 9 are also responsible for bringing their own laptop to school, or loaning a laptop from the school if their family receives financial aid; learn more about CA's 1:1 device program.

2025-2026 TUITION

Financial Aid

Our priority is for all admitted students to have the opportunity to attend CA regardless of their family's economic situation. We encourage families to consider Colorado Academy for their student and apply for tuition assistance if the tuition is out of reach.

For the 2025-2026 school year, CA will offer over $5.8 million in financial aid to qualifying families. Financial aid is awarded to current and newly admitted students on the basis of demonstrated need, as determined by factors such as income, family size, assets, and liabilitieslearn more.

As financial aid is treated as a gift from the school, there are no repayment requirements. Given that circumstances and tuition change each school year, families are required to complete the financial aid process on a yearly basis.

First priority is given to families who complete the Financial Aid Application by the February 15 deadline. Families applying for aid after the deadline are considered for the financial aid waitlist.

Financial Aid Checklist & Timeline

List of 3 items.

  • FINANCIAL AID APPLICATION | Before Feb 15

The Application for Financial Aid is separate from the Application for Admission, although the two application cycles overlap.

Here is the link to the Financial Aid Application through Clarity.
Please review Clarity’s Family Application Guide for additional information.

If you're applying for an ACE scholarship through FACTS, you do not need to fill out an additional application through Clarity, as long as you add Colorado Academy as a FACTS recipient.
  • 2023 AND 2024 TAX RETURNS / W-2's | Before Feb 15

After January 1, you may share copies of the following documents to Clarity Financial:
    • 2023 tax returns and W-2 statements, as well as 2023 K-1 and business tax returns, if applicable
    • 2024 tax returns and W-2 statements, as well as 2024 K-1 and Profit and Loss Statements, if applicable

If you will not be able to file your 2024 tax return by February 15, we will still process your financial aid application without the 2024 tax return, as long as we have received a copy of your 2024 W-2 statements, your 2024 Profit & Loss Statements from your business if you are self-employed, and your 2023 tax return by the February 15 deadline.

You may submit your 2024 tax return, after February 15, once it is finalized.

  • FINANCIAL AID AWARDS

After the Admission Committee makes decisions, a separate Financial Aid Committee reviews the completed financial aid applications for current and newly admitted students.

If families complete the financial aid process by the February 15 deadline, financial aid awards are offered at the same time as admission decisions:

    February 21, 2025, for Grades 6-12
    February 28, 2025, for Pre-K-Grade 5
