How To Apply

1. Key Dates and Information

• Anytime prior to July 15: CA will continue to consider students for the waitpool for 2026-2027.
• After August 15: Start the application process for the 2027-2028 school year by creating an account and submitting Step 1: Student Form. 
  • There is no fee to apply to CA.
  • Once Step 1 is submitted, families may log back in to their account to view the remaining steps of the process.
• September 24: Save the Date for Admission Preview! Sign up to receive the registration link for our fall Admission Previews by filling out an Inquiry Form.
• October 6: Save the Date for Admission Preview! Sign up to receive the registration form for our fall Admission Previews by filling out an Inquiry Form.
• October 24: Save the Date for our Admission Athletics Open house! Sign up to receive the registration link by filling out an Inquiry Form.
• January 15: Deadline to complete ALL steps of the process such as teacher recommendations, transcripts, and visits. 
• February 15: Deadline to apply for financial aid, if interested. With over $6.1 million in tuition assistance each year, we welcome students and families from all backgrounds to consider CA, no matter their financial circumstances. 
• Late February: The first round of admission decisions are sent to families who completed the process by the January 15 deadline:
  • Grades 6-11: Friday, February 19, 2027 at 4:00 p.m. MT
  • Pre-K-Grade 5: Friday, February 26, 2027 at 4:00 p.m. MT

2. Select Your Division

The specific application steps for each division are outlined here: Lower School (Pre-K-Grade 5), Middle School (Grades 6-8), and Upper School (Grades 9-12). Please note, if applying after the January 15 deadline, the application is considered for the wait pool.
