Careers

Benefits

All Colorado Academy employees enjoy an excellent benefits package.
Below is a benefit summary; full and formal details are contained in the school's employee handbook.

Competitive Compensation

Starting salaries are based on the teacher's or administrator's education and experience. Our entry salary scale is competitive with other school districts in the Denver metro area.

Employee Child Care

An on-site child-care facility, staffed by qualified caregivers, is available to faculty and staff members for children aged three months to three years. The cost is competitive with other local child-care facilities. Children are accepted on a space-available basis.

Other On-Site Benefits

  • Tuition remission for children of full-time faculty and staff, as available and based on eligibility.
  • Daily, free lunch during the academic year.
  • Free parking.
  • Faculty/Staff laptop and tablet program.
  • 97-acre campus with running trail & fitness facility.

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

Eligible employees can participate in comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. CA also offers life and disability insurance to its full-time staff.

Professional Development

All CA employees are encouraged to enhance their skills and further their career advancement through both CA-sponsored and independent seminars and workshops. CA provides a supportive environment in which employees are viewed and rewarded as valuable members of our academic community. Professional development, offered both on and off-campus, is supported by a nearly $250,000 annual budget.

Retirement Plan

Eligible employees may participate in the school's retirement plan. Two years of employment at CA is required for participation in the retirement program, unless the employee has completed two years of service with an eligible employer, such as another academic institution.
