College-Bound Student Athletes Commit to Collegiate Teams

Colorado Academy honored 12 students from the Class of 2017 who have committed to compete in athletics at their selected colleges or universities. Nearly every one of these students has been part of winning 29 state championship titles at Colorado Academy over the past four years. Approximately 10-15% of CA's graduating class goes on each year to play college sports. Students will be attending Division I, II, and III institutions including the following:
  • Riley Brook will play soccer for Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
  • Isabel Chandler will play field hockey at Middlebury College in Middlebury, Vermont
  • Cassie Kneen will play golf as she attends St. Andrew’s in Scotland
  •  Sarah Masinter will play soccer at the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
  • Jack Parham will play soccer for Washington and Lee University in Lexington, Virginia.
  •  Matt Pollack will play lacrosse for Kenyon College in Gambier, Ohio.
  • Sydney Prokupek will play lacrosse at Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut.
  • Bridget Sutter will play lacrosse for the University of Tampa in Florida.  
  • Kelsey Stone will play soccer at the College of Wooster in Wooster, Ohio.
  • Nellie Turnage will play field hockey for Davidson College  in Davidson, North Carolina.
  • Morgan Weeks will play field hockey at Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee.
  • Claire Wright will play lacrosse at Tufts University in Medford, Massachusetts.
