All Colorado Academy employees enjoy an excellent benefits package.

Faculty salaries are competitive, and a full range of benefits is offered, including health and life insurance, as well as retirement funding. Professional development is a priority at Colorado Academy and is supported by a $245,000 annual budget. Employee child care is also offered.

For more information about CA benefits, contact Barb Eckler, administrative assistant for the Head of School’s office, at (303) 914-2586 or send an e-mail. Interested applicants may request a full statement of benefits if selected for an interview.

Competitive Compensation

Starting salaries are based on the teacher's or administrator's education and experience. Our entry salary scale is competitive with other school districts in the Denver metro area.

Comprehensive Insurance Coverage

Eligible employees can participate in comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance plans. CA also provides life and disability insurance to its full-time staff.

Professional Development

All CA employees are encouraged to enhance their skills and further their career advancement through both CA-sponsored and independent seminars and workshops. CA provides a supportive environment in which employees are viewed and rewarded as valuable members of our academic community.

Retirement Plan

Eligible employees may participate in the school's retirement plan. Two years of employment at CA is required for participation in the retirement program, unless the employee has completed two years of service with an eligible employer, such as another academic institution.

Employee Child Care

An on-site child-care facility, staffed by qualified care givers, is available to faculty and staff members for children aged 3 months to 3 years. The cost is competitive with other local child-care facilities. Children are accepted on a space-available basis.

Non-Discrimination Policy

Colorado Academy does not discriminate or allow unlawful harassment in any of its programs, procedures or practices on the basis of age, color, disability, national or ethnic origin, political affiliation, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation, military service, or other protected classifications defined by the State of Colorado and local laws. The policy applies in all aspects of employment with the Academy.
