Field Hockey Team Fights Hard; Loses in Double Overtime
The Colorado Academy girls Field Hockey team fought hard but ultimately lost in double overtime against Kent Denver 0-1 in the semifinal matchup.
The Mustangs won 12 games, lost 3, and tied twice throughout their 2017 season.
Says Athletic Director Bill Hall, "What a great season. Coach Veronica Scott and her staff did a tremendous job leading this group. The girls have a lot to be proud of, including their effort and work ethic."
The Mustangs last won a state championship in 2015.
Says Hall, "We are extremely proud of their hard work!"
