Congratulations to Girls Lacrosse Coach and Kindergarten teacher Stephanie Sanders, who was recognized by the National Federation of State High School Associations as the 2015 State Coach of the Year!

 

Says Sanders, “It is an honor to coach these young women and have the opportunity to give back to a sport that has given me so much. Team sports are so valuable to the development of strong, confident and capable young women and I continue to enjoy being a part of this team and this school.”

 

In a letter sent to Sanders notifying her of the recognition, the Assistant Commissioner wrote: “Your leadership, knowledge, dedication and countless hours to the students/atheletes reflects the commitment that you made to build a successful program.”

 

Sanders will accept the award during a ceremony on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at the Radisson located at I-225 and Parker.
