Sutter Named West National Player of the Week
Congratulations to CA junior lacrosse goalkeeper Bridget Sutter who was named West National Player of the Week by US Lacrosse. Sutter helped push CA to a 7-5 win over then-No. 1 St. Ignatius (Calif.), with 15 saves. Sutter had six more saves in CA’s 13-1 win over Sacred Heart Prep (Calif.) two days later. She averages 10 saves per game. Earlier this month, she was honored as one of 45 of Colorado’s top female athletes and contributors to women’s athletics in the annual Sportswomen of Colorado 2016 Hall of Fame awards.
