In celebration of Earth Day and the season of spring, Colorado Academy’s Lower School is inviting children and parents to take part in Planting at the Pond.  After last year’s dredging and restoration at Woody’s Pond, there is a lot of planting to do. Join us on the morning of Sunday, April 3, 2016 from 9 a.m. to noon to help out. Parents and children will help re-plant of shrubs, bushes and flowers around Woody’s Pond.   With each bush and tree planted, each of us can make a difference to our planet. Space is limited. Please register.  Please bring work gloves and wear clothing and closed-toe shoes appropriate for digging and planting. Hats and sunscreen are recommended. Work tools will be provided, and we'll have snacks and drinks available.
