CA's Climbing Team won the Regional Championship over Presidents Day Weekend with a strong showing at Rockn' & Jamn'. Both the women's and men's teams took home first place. In the individual competitions, Alena Holbert was the women's champion, Hagen Hall was the men's champion, Arthur Wright was second, and Mason Smith was fourth. These climbers along with Maryam Husain, Ben Fitzgerald, Cooper Bedin and Jack Prall all qualified for the state tournament coming up in late February.

Coach Forbes Cone says, "This team's work ethic has been very impressive, and their commitment to improving has been gratifying to watch. We've ratcheted up the intensity of practices over the last couple of weeks and this group has responded by giving maximum effort. It has been a pleasure to coach alongside Garrett Blair, Matt Lloyd and Jackie LaMonica and we're all thrilled by the team's success in our first season as a competitive climbing program."
