CHSAA recently ranked the Colorado Academy Mustangs No. 1 in field hockey rankings this week, followed by Palmer Ridge, No. 2, and Kent Denver, No. 3.

 

Says Head Coach Veronica Scott, “ It’s an honor to be respected by opponents. The girls are working well and it's early in the season, so we’re still ironing out kinks regarding positions and team structure. I am impressed so far with both individual and team performances, however we have some way to go to achieving our individual and team goals. I am supported by a strong staff and am very blessed to have the support of my colleagues, the school and parents.”

 

The Mustangs have now won 43 consecutive games over the past four seasons, including their first two games of the season against Denver East High School and Mountain Vista High School. Their next game will be Thursday, September 10 against Regis Jesuit on Colorado Academy’s Slater Field.
