Nic Cary '03
Nic Cary was honored as the winner of the 2015 European Digital Leader Award and has appeared in the NYT, WSJ, Financial Times, Wired, Forbes, Entrepreneur and on NPR, CNN, CNBC among others. Nic is the Co-founder of Blockchain, bitcoin venture.
In addition, Nic started a new project Co-Founding YBUSA (Youth Business USA). His interest in service is directly rooted in his CA experience. The Oakland-based 501(C)3 focuses on helping under-served young adults start businesses. YBUSA has received funding from Accenture and the Kimas Foundation. The platform combines technology, training, mentoring and interest free loans up to $10K to help accelerate businesses much like micro-finance meets start-up accelerator for at-risk and under-served young adults aged 18-29.
