The hail and thunderstorms the night before graduation subsided just long enough for a senior class portrait and glorious weather the next morning for Colorado Academy’s commencement exercises on June 4, 2015. Ninety-six students in the Class of 2015 graduated with CA’s traditional tributes to each senior.  The ceremony was the culminating event of a week of continuations, awards, tributes, and celebrations. 

 

At the Commencement Dinner, Upper School Principal Dr. Jon Vogels spoke about the narratives that each student creates during their time at CA, of the power of capturing and sharing stories, and how each student has the ability to design the story of his or her future. At graduation, Head of School Dr. Mike Davis talked about the pursuit of excellence, and by way of example, the history of the Beatles. Students from the Class of 2015 will matriculate to colleges in several countries world wide and from coast to coast in the U.S.
