Congratulations to the Colorado Academy Girls Lacrosse Team which beat Kent Denver on May 13, 2015, 14-9 to advance to the semi-finals of the State Lacrosse Tournament. The lady Mustangs had a slim lead going into halftime, but came back in the second half to win and advance to the semifinals for the first time in 15 years. They play Saturday, May 16, at 1:30 p.m. at Peter Baron Lacrosse Stadium on the University of Denver Campus. Meanwhile, Centaurus had beat out Mullen 13-8 to make it to the semifinals. In the brackets, Cherry Creek meets Denver East in the other semi-final matchup to determine the teams vying for the State Championship, which will be played on May 20. Tickets will be $8 for adults and $5 for students.
