Girls Golf Heads to State
The Girls Golf team recently qualified for the State Championships after winning regionals by 14 shots on Monday, May 4, 2015 at Raccoon Creek Golf Course. This marks the second year in a row the girls have qualified for state, which will be held May 18 & 19 in Carbondale.

Notably, junior Kacey Godwin placed second in regionals with a score of 75, and sophomore Cassie Kneen placed third individually.
Says Girls Golf coach, Beth Folsom, “We are excited as we return three players from last year. We are also looking forward to a great future as the players we are taking to state are three sophomores and one junior.“
Last year, the team placed third in the State Championships! Go Mustangs!
