CA Girls Headed to State Finals in Tennis
Colorado Academy’s singles and doubles tennis players are all slated to compete in the State Tennis Finals which will be played Thursday and Friday, May 6 & 7 at Pueblo City Park in Pueblo, Colorado. CA’s No. 1, 2, and 3 singles: Tara Edwards, Savannah Mease, and Morgan Bullen all took first place in regional competition held May 1 on CA’s campus. No. 1 Doubles, Claudia Morse and Sage Lochead also came in first, with CA’s No. 2, 3, and 4 doubles (No. 2 Doubles: Sammy Kelley and Amelia Lochead, No. 3 Doubles: Hope Cherubini and Amanda Funk, and No. 4 Doubles: Grace Ingebretsen and Christina Baer) placing second in today’s competition. Congratulations, players!
