Friday, December 12 and Saturday, December 13 at 7 p.m. in the Froelicher Theatre, CA presents a groundbreaking show by Mary Zimmerman: Metamorphoses. The play was inspired by the Latin narrative poem of the same name by the Roman poet Ovid. Zimmerman's Tony Award-winning play uses ten of the myths to explore the theme of transformation, and the play uses a pool of water for the set, as water is a central feature in each of the stories.
