Author Completes Froelicher Profile

Denver author Katherine Millett is marking the completion of a manuscript about the life of longtime Denver educator, philanthropist, and outdoorsman, F. Charles Froelicher. The piece is a 22-page history of Froelicher’s arrival in Colorado in the 1950s and his service as Head of School of Colorado Academy from 1955 to 1975.

Millett grew up in east Denver, attended Hampshire College and the University of Chicago Law School. Now retired from law, she is author of dozens of articles and also is president of the Denver Woman’s Press Club.

Through a series of interviews with Froelicher and extensive research, she captures the life of an innovative educator, a Navy man, the founder Outward Bound in the U.S., a preservationist, and much more.  Click here for the manuscript.
