Colorado Academy freshman Anna Ponzio took the top spot in the girls Metro League Cross-Country Race with a new course record at the Broomfield Invitational. Ponzio has been consistently running under 20 minutes for the 5000 meter race. The girls tream came in fourth overall, and the boys team fifth. Regionals are on the schedule for next week.
