CA Brings Home FV Trophy
Long time CA rival Fountain Valley (2-3-1) was down 3-0 at home at the half against Colorado Academy in the two schools' long-standing battle over the traveling trophy. FV lost to defending Class 3A champion Colorado Academy on Saturday. The Danes, however, scored two goals in the second half, and junior goalie Phillip Huxel made eight saves, according to the Gazette Telegraph, including one on a penalty kick.
