HOPE breaks new record
A Message from Students HOPE leaders Ian Peterson and Ryan Sachar . . .
On Saturday, H.O.P.E gave a warm meal, clothing, toiletries, a visit with Santa, toys and medical attention to people in need. There were people lining up outside the gym TWO HOURS before the event began, and even more incredible is the fact that we helped 1,725 people! This is a new record for H.O.P.E, so we are extremely grateful for all of your help and support, and hope you guys feel proud of your hard work.
However, H.O.P.E is not about us, it is about all the people we helped. We cannot even being to count the "Thank yous" we received, or the smiles we saw after a child got to sit on Santa's lap, play on the bouncy castle and unwrap a present. So thank you all so much again for spreading joy to those less fortunate than us, and we hope you all were reminded what the holidays are truly about.
