CA Student Athletes Rack Up Post-Season Awards
Post-season awards from CA’s fall sports successes just keep coming. For CA’s State Championship Field Hockey team, Julia Murphy was named the Colorado Player of the Year. Daan Polders was named Colorado Coach of the year. Julia Murphy, Ali Clarke, Sterre Van Ede, and Mandy Weeks were named First Team All-State.

For CA’s Boys State Soccer champs, Cole Bortz and Griffin O’Brien were named Metro League First Team as well as First Team All-State; Metro League Second Team honorees include Robert Wright, Jack Thomas, and JJ Meyers. Robert Wright and Jack Thomas were also named Second Team All-State. Other awards include an NSCAA Scholar Athlete/senior excellence award for Ryan Sachar, and an NSCAA High School Scholar All-America award for Cole Bortz. Team awards include:
- Outstanding Defensive Players: Cole Bortz, Jack Thomas
- Outstanding Offensive Player: Robert Wright
- Team Award: Griffin O’Brien
Coach J-C Pritchard is being honored as 3-A Region 6 Coach of the Year and as Colorado Coach of the Year for Private Schools.
