Under sunny skies and with hundreds of people in attendance, Head of School Mike Davis, Board Chair John Fenley and representatives of the Class of 2013 delivered remarks at the official groundbreaking of the new Colorado Academy Upper School on June 1.  The event marks the beginning of a seventh-month construction project that will create a state-of-the-art learning facility for CA's grades 9 through 12. The building is set to open in January 2013. Key features include a two-story structure, expanded classroom, mathematics and laboratory space, an Innovation Laboratory and lecture hall.
