CA English Teacher Presents at Pop Culture Conference
Congratulations to CA Upper School English teacher Chip Lee who recently presented a paper at the Midwestern Popular Culture Conference in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Lee's presentation was one of approximately 250 papers presented in some 70 in different areas of popular culture, from ethnic to religious to media to theory. Lee's paper titled "The Genesis of the Number 49 in Pynchon's The Crying of Lot 49," was presented in the “Language, Religion, and Spirituality,” category, along with papers on Hemingway, Faulkner, and science fiction writing.
