We are excited to bring the CA vs. Kent tradition to the next level by introducing the Showdown Series!

Kicking the series off on January 23, 2024, the CA Mustangs will match up against the Kent Sun Devils, as we take over the University of Denver Ritchie Center. The January Series is the start of a seasonal event featuring CA and Kent teams squaring off on the same day to engage the students, parents, alumni, families, and faculty to support the CA Mustangs!

The January Showdown Series will feature multiple games on the same night, starting with Boys Basketball at 4:00 p.m., followed by Girls Basketball at 5:30 p.m. in Hamilton Gymnasium. Ice Hockey at 7:30 p.m. will finish off the night on the Magness Arena ice.

The Alumni community, including Parents of Alumni and Alumni, are invited to attend and cheer on your alma mater! An Alumni Reception will be open from 4-8 p.m., with food and refreshments served at 7 p.m. Let us know if you can join HERE! 

Admission to all games is free, and parking is $10 in the University of Denver lots. Please see the map below for parking available in Lot 103, Lot C, and Lot L. For safety and security, the DU Ritchie Center strictly enforces the Clear Bag Policy, and this will be in place for game night; please make sure to review approved items for entry below.
