Chance to Hear from Nick Malick, Our New Principal, Plus Interim News

By Bill Wolf-Tinsman
We had a fun and full Parent Association Meeting. After PA announcements, I shared a bit about how this year went for our students and foreshadowed a bit about next year. The highlight was having a chance to meet and hear from Nick Malick, our new principal. His remarks can be found here. We finished up with a brief orientation for parents new to the school and our rising Fifth Grade parents. It is shaping up to be a fun and exciting 2023-2024 school year.

Finally, next week is INTERIM. We can’t wait! Students will be learning to cook, scuba diving, hiking, exploring, and generally learning and having fun in a wide variety of settings. My group will be in Moab, Utah, hiking in Arches, technical rock climbing, and white water rafting. On Monday, we will need your help at drop-off.  We want to be sure that our departure does not negatively impact the start of school for the Lower and Upper School students. Please review this note from Abby Page, Outdoor Education Director, for more information about how you can help.

If I can be of service in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,
Bill
