Summer, here we come!

By Bill Wolf-Tinsman
Thanks for a great year everyone. I appreciate our students for trying to put their best foot forward every day since arriving on campus in August. As a group they have been terrific about trying new things, learning from missteps, and growing academically and in character. Similarly, I am appreciative of the efforts of the faculty to meet our students where they are and to do their best to “grow them” into the young people they are today. Thanks, too, parents for entrusting us with what is most dear to you, your child(ren). It has been fun for us to be a part of it all.

I sent out a note yesterday about summer reading and math expectations, but you can also find them here.  While we want our students to continue to read and practice their current math skills, we also want them to thoroughly enjoy the summer and to grow by doing a wide variety of activities. It is amazing how much you can grow from going to camp, visiting grandparents, etc.

I hope everyone has a wonderful, restful, and refreshing summer filled with friends, family, and good books. If I can be helpful in any way, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,
Bill
