Dear Lower School Families,

 

Due to the predicted cold and wet weather (90 percent chance of rain and 41 degrees), we are adjusting our plans for the Lower School Field Day. We have created a new schedule for students to enjoy some Field Day fun in the gym during the day. Due to each grade level attending PE at a specific time and with limited space, we will not be able to have family members join us for this day.

 

We have several fun activities planned for each grade level, and we will also be hosting the Fast Forward for Grades K-4 in the afternoon. Students in Kindergarten through Fourth Grade will move forward to see the upcoming classrooms and meet the grade-level teachers. Pre-K will visit the Kindergarten classrooms on Tuesday, May 24 (This worked better in their overall schedule.) Fifth Grade will have a Mustang Meetup with me during this time.

 

Students will also receive their yearbook on this day and will bring it home too.

We are so disappointed in this schedule change; however, the faculty, staff, and I are committed to make it a great day of joy in the Lower School!
