At the end of the day, Mid-Tri reports for Trimester 3 will be available. At this time, we share a brief overview of studies, category averages, and the mark earned so far. These are intended to give you a sense of progress to date. There is still plenty of time to modify performance, give extra effort, and learn from the previous few weeks. As always, I encourage a “glass half-full” perspective. We focus on what is going well and what skills are in place that can be built upon between now and the end of the school year. This truly is a great time to learn from small missteps.

 

Earlier this week, we had our second set of Interim preparation meetings. It was great to see my group of students as we settled into discussing our equipment list, rules of the road, and other aspects of our adventure. One of my messages to my group is that it is the responsibility of all of us to be safe and kind. I also emphasized that, when camping, we should always strive to do more than our share. Frankly, if we do these two things at home or in Moab, Utah, good things are likely to happen!
