We had a good turnout for our Parent Association meeting and workshop with Jessica Dolgan on Teen Sexuality. I had a few requests for the recording. It is attached here (Passcode: Dolgan1!) While there was a good deal of information shared, if I were to capture one message, it would be the importance of open dialog with your child over time, regarding healthy relationships, the importance of consent, and common sense information about healthy sexuality, sex, and intimacy. Few of us are “experts” in speaking to our children about these topics, but making the conversation a normal and regular part of your ongoing relationship with your child is the ticket.
