Dear Lower School Families,

 

I hope that everyone enjoyed the Parent/Teacher Conference time and connecting with your child’s classroom teacher. We are excited to begin our Trimester 3 work with the students.

 

Earlier this week I was walking across campus with the sun shining and the birds chirping, and I had a sudden feeling of joy. I saw children running, playing, and enjoying their time together. I could hear laughter and see connections being made. As I continued on my path, I reflected on how it has been two years since the Global Pandemic began and how dramatically school life changed for your children and for teachers. My thoughts and reflections continued throughout the day, and it truly felt like a time-warp moment.

                                                                                                 

I think about our younger students and their school experience. For many of them, they have only known school at CA in “Pandemic Times,” which includes wearing a mask, social distancing, and conversations about COVID-19. As we move into Trimester 3, we are moving into our newest version of school. And as always, our goal is to support children as they engage with one another inside and outside of classrooms in more meaningful ways. We look forward to the future and supporting our students socially, emotionally, and academically.

 

The leg coverage policy is in effect until students return from Spring Break on March 28.  Leg coverage many include leggings, pants, sweatpants, or tights.
