Reminder about Zoom access and the Tech Tricks and Tips Recording

By Bill Wolf-Tinsman
As promised, here is the recording of the Tech Tips and Tricks Parent Association Meeting (use passcode +b6v@.7B) from last week and the associated slides or graphs. There was lots to share. When you start the recording, please skip ahead five and a half minutes; otherwise, you will have the pleasure of looking at me watching the screen as we waited together to start the meeting. Oh, the joys of Zoom recordings!

Also, we are continuing to make Zoom auditing available for students who are ill or COVID-19 positive to help our community stay healthy. Auditing using Zoom is NOT an option for students who are traveling to a sports tournament or on vacation/in the mountains. Moreover, we hope the first priority for students feeling ill is to rest and recover. Please only use the Zoom audit option if a child is feeling well enough to do so.

Upon return to school, we encourage students to take the lead in setting up study hall meetings with their teachers to check in and create a plan for catching up on missed work. This is great practice for students to take charge of their learning in this way. Teachers are eager to help each student create a manageable plan and to get back in the swing of school.

If you ever have any questions, please reach out to your student’s advisor or to me.

Thanks,
Bill
