Reminders for 2022, plus 100th Day of School Celebration

By Angie Crabtree
Dear Lower School Families,

We are so happy to be back at school together. Thank you to everyone for supporting our COVID-19 testing protocols as we returned to school last week. Our goal is to remain open and keep everyone healthy and safe each school day.

Reminders as we begin 2022 together:
  • The tardy bell rings at 8:10 a.m. each day. The classroom teachers and I want all children in the classrooms unpacking and beginning their day no later than 8:08 a.m., so that students are prepared to begin their day.
  • If a child arrives late to school, the parent should walk their child into the Lower School office to sign in with Ivanna Bond. Ms. Bond will provide support to the student in reporting to the classroom.
  • For early pick-ups, parents should come to the Lower School office to pick up students. We have a sign-out and pick-up protocol in the Lower School office. Ivanna Bond will assist each family with early pick-up.
  • In order for students to play in the snow, snow boots are the required footwear. If a student is not wearing snow boots, they will remain on the sidewalk/paved parts of the play area.
