A reminder of bus ridership expectations

By Angie Crabtree
Dear Lower School Families,

We definitely adjusted to the colder temperatures this week. The classroom teachers provided reminders for students to bring warmer layers to school.

We are so fortunate to have our CA Bus Service to provide transportation services for our school community. I am in contact with the bus drivers each week to monitor and support our Lower School student riders. The bus drivers have asked me to share reminders with our Lower School families, and our Lower School teachers also reviewed these reminders during class meetings on Thursday.

Bus ridership expectations:
  • Students are required to stay in their seat at all times.
  • Students must sit in their assigned seat/area.
  • Eating snacks or candy is not permitted on the bus.
  • A mask must be worn at all times.
  • Hands and feet to self.
  • Hands and all objects must stay inside the bus.
  • Students should clean up any trash items as they leave the bus.

If a student is not following the expectations on the bus, the student may be suspended from using the CA Bus Service. Our goal is to provide a safe and enjoyable ride for everyone on the bus.

We are looking forward to our November Town Meeting next week. Student Council will be presenting about Veterans Day (November 11) and World Kindness Day (November 13).

Enjoy the fall weekend!
