When you are reading this, I hope I am just waking up in my tent by Finch Lake in Wild Basin with my group of Eighth Grade backpackers. With any luck, there will be a cup of coffee and my sleeping pad will not have collapsed during the night, bad news for my back if it did! 

 

Next week, I will be able to share a bit more about the trip and the experience the Eighth Graders had. The good news, though, is that the Eighth Grade got to go off on a backpacking adventure! My hope is that the kids are safe, they learned camp craft, and had fun.  More to share next week…
