I hope everyone enjoyed the recent Parent/Teacher conferences. The faculty and I value your partnership and appreciate working with you to support your child. Thank you for your contributions to provide snacks and treats for the faculty and staff during these two days.
 
October 2 is National Custodian’s Day
The Lower School students surprised the CA Custodial Staff with amazing notes of kindness and sweet treats on Friday. We are so thankful for each member of our Custodial Staff and all that they are doing to keep us safe each day.
 
Lower School lunch
Beginning Monday, October 5, a hot lunch will be provided for all Lower School students. Menu for the upcoming week:
Monday: Chicken nuggets, mac & cheese, seasonal vegetable, fruit (gluten free available)
Tuesday: Chicken Chimichanga, lime cilantro rice, refried beans, fruit
Wednesday: Penne with red sauce, seasonal vegetables, bread stick (gluten free available)
Thursday: BBQ chicken sandwich, seasonal vegetable, vegetarian baked beans, fruit (gluten free buns available)
Friday: Corn Dog, applesauce, seasonal vegetable, (gluten free available) 
(Vegetarian Gluten Free Items available daily)
 
Town Meeting

The Big Draw
CA Visual Arts classes will take place outside on Monday, October 5 and Tuesday, October 6. This is a community drawing event, and this year’s theme is CLIMATE OF CHANGE.
 
Visiting author and illustrator
Jarrett Krosoczka will be visiting Grades 2-5 on Tuesday, October 6, via Zoom. We are all excited to meet Mr. Krosoczka and learn more about his work as an author and illustrator.
