This is my favorite quote of the week from one of our Seventh Grade students, “My first day was the best day of the 2020 year, because I got to see everyone!” That says it ALL, doesn’t it?! The kids are excited to be together, and we are so pleased to have them back at school. 

 

The training days went smoothly, and the kids are doing their best to learn the new routines of school. Equally important, our teachers are well on their way to integrating Mustangs and Rockies into one class, even though half the kids are Zooming and half are at home. Because this is NEW to our students and teachers, I imagine that we will continue to see improvement as students and teachers become more confident in their teaching and learning skills in this format.

 

I continue to be impressed by how our students are joining us in the effort to keep each other safe. This is great to see. I am also grateful for the ongoing support of our parents. This is truly a partnership.
