Colorado Academy is a community that cultivates student voice, respects all individuals, and fosters space for learning.

Culture and community work reinforces the philosophy, mission, heart, and practice of Colorado Academy.

We value the complexity of our society—including the richness of each individual’s ideas, identities, backgrounds, orientations, expressions, abilities, and aspirations. As we learn from each other, we all benefit.

Our goal as an institution is to help teachers create inclusive classrooms and learning opportunities that are safe, open, respectful, and engaging. By improving students’ abilities to collaborate and become stronger independent thinkers, we can push them to communicate effectively across differences and enable all students to feel valued, respected, and supported.

At Colorado Academy, we gather throughout the year to celebrate, connect, and grow stronger together. Our culture and community events bring students, families, faculty, and staff together to share experiences, honor our diverse perspectives, and build the relationships that make CA feel like home.
