WHO WE ARE
Colorado Academy is an independent day school offering a transformative, future-focused educational experience for students in Pre-K through Grade 12.
We teach a dynamic, liberal arts-based curriculum informed by an ever-changing world. We inspire adventurous learners who lead by seeking out the best in themselves, their peers, and their communities.
The whole world is interdisciplinary. Being able to apply what you’re learning in one area to what you’re studying in another is essential to moving forward in life. You’re becoming a more conscientious human, with all the tools you need to navigate the world. CA supports you on that journey.
Bela Chaudhuri, Class of 2024
Our students drive all that we do.
We are single-minded in our focus on helping every young person become the best version of themselves. Whether that is as a thinker, an artist, or a teammate—or all three—we nurture our students’ ability to know themselves, discover their passions, and share them with the world.
Our history is one of possibility.
Since our founding in 1906 in a modest stone house in Denver’s Capitol Hill neighborhood, CA has been relentless in asking: How can we better serve our students to prepare them for the changing world of challenges and opportunities they inherit?
I found a love for photography my Junior year. The opportunity to develop my own portfolio as a Senior has not only been empowering as a photographer, but has allowed me to create something that I’m passionate about.
