Cross Country Head Coach Annie Bennett loves to run, and it has been part of her life since she was nine years old. She has been coaching for over 30 years and has been at CA for over five years. She has coached at multiple levels, from the World Athletics Championships in Germany, Japan, and Brazil; as Head Coach for Wake Forest College, participating in the I have coached at the World Championships, NCAA championships; and at the high school level, coaching teams and individual athletes at the CHSAA high school championships. As an athlete, Bennett was the 1984 NCAA 5,000 m. champion and six-time All-American at the University of Texas at Austin, where she was a member of four different national title teams in Cross Country and Track & Field. When not coaching, you will find her trail running and playing tennis, golf, and pickle ball.
