The Ponzio Arts Center was designed to house CA’s marquee programs in the visual arts. It houses an innovative visual arts space that features state-of-the-art studios for mixed media, printmaking, ceramics, digital design, photography, and film studies. Students have access to flexible gallery and work spaces as well as functional outdoor work areas.
Lower and Middle School students create in spacious, naturally lit classrooms. Seniors who are serious about pursuing art after they graduate have a separate Senior studio in which to work.
In 2017, the building received a major renovation and expansion through the See it Through capital campaign
and was named for donor, former Trustee, and parent Craig Ponzio. Ponzio also donated more than 15 works of art to the school, including works by 11 contemporary American artists and impressive outdoor sculptures that surround the Ponzio Arts Center.
