Wes Kirk is the Director of Sports Performance at CA. He oversees sports performance aspects for athletic teams, Middle School athletics, and Sports Performance classes. He also teaches the Exercise Science course in the Upper School. Before joining CA in 2019, he spent two years at the University of Oklahoma for Olympic Sports Strength and Conditioning. During his time at OU, he contributed to various sports, earning an NCAA National Championship and two Conference Championships with Men’s Gymnastics.
His career began with the Cincinnati Reds' Triple A team, the Louisville Bats. After that, he was at Florida State University and the University of Arizona, where he worked with several programs, including volleyball, swim & dive, baseball, women’s soccer, spirit, softball, women’s gymnastics, and football.
Coach Kirk earned a BS in Biology and an associate degree in recreational management from Indiana University. He holds an MEd from the University of Oklahoma with a focus on Intercollegiate Athletic Administration, and he is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS).
