Welcome to Colorado!
Dear College Admission Officers:

We're looking forward to seeing you during your fall travels! We appreciate your attention to our students and hope you enjoy your time in Denver and on our beautiful campus. We think CA is a remarkable place within the landscape of independent schools nationwide. You can find more information here on the CA site about our curriculum, programs and culture before you visit and as you read applicationswe are particularly proud of CA's commitment to 21st century skills and to creating a positive school culture.

Scheduling a Visit:
CA is now scheduling through Maia Learning - University Visits. If you need additional help, please contact Cyd Tully, College Office Administrative Assistant, at 303-914-2502 or cyd.tully@coloradoacademy.org

During our school year, take note that our Seniors will be off-campus for the second week of October (many of them will be traveling to visit your campuses), and we will be administering standardized tests during that week. We cannot accommodate visits on that week.

During the busy late September / early October week of college fairs, you will find our office set up in a temporary location (likely Welborn House), where there will be numerous spaces to meet with groups of students and we can host several representatives concurrently—we also will have coffee, hot chocolate, snacks and refreshments available for our college visitors.

If you visit at any other time of year, our office is in the Upper School building, upstairs above the main entrance.

When you enter campus, expect to check in at the Welcome Center with our security guard. You will need to obtain a visitor's pass or wear your college name badge while on campus.

At all times, parking for college visitors is reserved in the Welborn House lot just to the right of the "Y" at the entrance to campus. If the Welborn lot is full, please follow the signs to visitor parking. See Our Campus for general directions and a campus map.

Please note that we have moved away from a "paper-based" resource library in the College Office, though students will appreciate your travel pieces.

We hope you enjoy your time in our region, and that you'll take some time to explore Denver and the nearby mountains while you're here. We probably won’t be the first or last to remind you, but don't forget your lip balm, sunscreen, and water bottle!

If we can assist you in any way during your time in Colorado, don't hesitate to give us a call.

Safe travels,

The CA College Office
