Girls Lax Goes for Third Straight Title

The Colorado Academy Girls Lacrosse Team  -- almost a year to the day -- will take on Cherry Creek once again in the State Finals, hoping to defend its state title and claim the top prize for the third straight year, against the very same team. Wednesday, May 24, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. at Denver University, CA will play Cherry Creek, just as it has done in May of 2015 and May of 2016. In '15, CA beat Cherry Creek 8-3, and in 2016, the score was 9-8 on May 25 of that year.  Cherry Creek beat East on May 20, 2017 to once again make it to the state finals, and CA beat Arapahoe 15-3 to land a spot in the final bracket.
