CA Sports Playoffs This Weekend

The Colorado Academy Girls Tennis Team continues its state championship push in Greeley today, Friday.  Championship matches will also take place tomorrow, Saturday.  Currently, the Mustangs are tied for 1st place with 4 other teams out of the field of 28.

Two-time defending state champions, CA Girls Lacrosse plays today, Friday, at Slater at 5 p.m vs. Cheyenne Mountain.  The Mustangs are seeded #1 in the tournament and look to build on their 13-2 regular season record.

In Boys Baseball, after finishing ranked #6 in the state in RPI with a 15-4 regular season record travels to Bennett for a 12:30 p.m. Saturday afternoon match-up vs. Buena Vista.  The winner of the 12:30 p.m. game will play the winner of the 10 a.m. Bennett-Bishop Machebeuf game at 2:30 p in Bennett. 

Number two state seeded CA Girls Soccer awaits the winner of today’s 4 p.m. game to be played on CA’s Firman field between Florence and Vail Mountain.  Tomorrow, Saturday, the game will be played on CA’s Slater Turf Field at 11 a.m.  
between Florence and Vail Mountain.  

Girls Golf will play in the state tournament on Monday and Tuesday, May 22 and 23 at the Broadlands in Broomfield after winning their regional tournament in Parachute this week by a 12-stroke margin.
