Michael Clayton '04

Cathy Nabbefeld recently heard Tomahawk Fox at Ophelia’s in Denver. The band’s vocals and lead guitar is Mike Clayton ’04. Tomahawk Fox has won some impressive awards this year including Herman Hideaway’s Best of the West Battle of the Bands competition last month. Besides receiving the coveted title, the competition began with 150 bands, Tomahawk Fox was awarded a prize package that included the opportunity to perform at Red Rocks and SXSW 2016, studio time, a promotional video and a very generous monetary endowment. This prize-winning Mile High City folk rock band has been working together for three years. They have a new release coming out at the end of February at the Hi-Dive, 7 S. Broadway, Denver.
