CA Volleyball Makes Season Gains

Congratulations to the CA Girls Volleyball program for its significant gains this past fall season. This season’s team demonstrated incredible determination, feistiness, grit and resilience.
 
The team finished the season ranked #17 (of 70 teams), and the team’s overall skill set and knowledge of the game improved tremendously.
 
All of the players worked extremely hard to make CA volleyball relevant once again statewide. In Varsity, the team’s 14 wins tied for the most wins since 2008, and they won a regional match for the first time since 2012. CA played the sixth most difficult schedule in the 3A division out of 70 teams.
 
Thank you to all the coaches (Justine Hancock, Saige Harrison, Jeff Oliver, Katie Janasek and Andi Brownlow), all the parents, and most importantly all the players (C-White, C-Red, JV and Varsity). Team honors are listed below:

  • Gracia O’Donnell, Sophomore - 2nd varsity letter and Honorable Mention All-League
  • Olivia White, Senior - 1st varsity letter
